It’s Summertime!

It’s finally summer. How do we know this? Well, it took forever, but the water has finally warmed up enough to not shiver when you step into the waves.

We’ve been having a great season teaching people how to surf and have been having all kinds of fun. We’ve heard some truly inspiring stories about why people have finally “taken the plunge” and we’re thrilled that they’ve chosen us to share these experiences.

That being said, now is the perfect time to learn how to surf. You can be 8 or 80 or anywhere in between. Our low 2 student to 1 instructor ratio helps to keep you safe. This allow allows us to make sure that you receive the attention needed to have a great experience.

So join us. Take the plunge. Come surfing.

New t-shirts!

Chicks on Sticks Women's and Men's T-Shirts

Chicks on Sticks are thrilled to announce that we finally have some t-shirts for sale! They come in both men’s and women’s cuts and have our logo on the front and on the back say “Surf’s Up, Skirts Off”. We have women’s sizes from Medium to X-Large and men’s Large to 2xl. The women’s shirts run small so remember that if you’d like to buy one.

They are only $15 and are available by calling either myself or Tracy or by emailing us.

Lessons

Chicks on Sticks offers a few options for lessons.   We usually try to conduct the majority of our lessons on Saturday mornings but are also open to evening and pre-work sessions. Our rates are $25 an hour and $10 extra if you need a surfboard. We also offer a three lesson package (without board rental) for $70 and individual lessons for $35 an hour.
